im new to figure collection. im ordering a figure from a local shop but it is currently sold out. the figure is from Kotobukiya.

my question is, how long does it take for the figures ready for order? its been 2 months since i wait for the figure release.

i got a feeling that figure release takes an awful long time to come out.

The figure, was it pre-order, or in stock? Try to check at MFC for the release date. For pre-order, shops usually open for a specific period only. Once pre-order window closes, have to wait for the figure to arrive and hope the shop got order extra. What figure is it btw?

From what i know, it is sold out everywhere and it is not a new release. so i guess i have to wait for some time for next release?

It may or may not get a rerelease. At the mean time, your only hope is on a second hand one if you don't mind paying for after market price.

i have checked at the MFC site, apparently they only release once a year. so i have missed out the release in year 2021. and it is not a exclusive figure. this means i may have to wait for another year or so for the next release (if there is)

again, do you know which site to check on second hand figures? preferably local sites.

i booked and paid a deposit for a statue based on CG image. But when the image of real product come out, i feel really disappointed when i see the real product.

Now planning to sell my purchase order slot at 50% discount to recover some deposit money.

What GK you bought? I only buy those final fantasy one because their licensed counterpart sucks big time.

Hello sifus, I new to figure collecting and have bought 2 figurines as well as preordered around 5 figurines all from Malaysia sellers. I would like to ask between buying / preordering from Malaysia seller vs GSC / Amiami / Global sites vs Taobao (78 list) which 1 is better? I do realize buying from Malaysia seller can be cheaper than Amiami including the shipping cost, but Taobao price is even cheaper than Malaysia seller from the range of RM30 to RM100. Would it be better to buy from Malaysia seller for the service or just buy from the lowest price 1? Thanks!
