No idea about it. But other times i tried shipping concert book + audio cd...they tax all of the items instead of only audio cd...guess maybe they assume it as old books..otherwise, with that weight, the shipping fee value itself already exceeded rm500 if using their STANDARD RATE 😂😂

Actually if you found the figure you wanted at japan online shop, maybe you can go to their physical shop when you're in japan.

For Mandarake, if the figure you wanted is in one of these branches: nakano, complex (this is actually akihabara), shibuya or ikebukuro you can go visit them in tokyo and just show the shopkeeper the picture of the figure.

Amiami has 2 shops in akihabara; most of the figures from their website, especially the new release can be found at their akiba shop.

If you stayed at inn or something during your tokyo trip, there's option of having the online shop deliver to the inn instead. Usually only costed around 500yen per order.

As side note, during all three of my Tokyo trip i actually went to akihabara almost every day

This one is actually "cheap" compared to that exclusive blond drillhead, because she's huge (ems is over 4k). I do think her wingspan is going to be as wide as 35 to 40cm.

Yes, i ordered one But unlikely to be able to shoot her photos until i buy a wide angle lens due to her size. I'm planning to get one in the coming months.

Just unbox my Aniplex - Katou Megumi figure.
What I can say is she's really gorgeous. I love the sculpt, the paint and the detail on her. Feel satisfy with the quality.


Finally, my long waiting on her really paid off.

always like idolmaster girls > lovelive, not all though, my favorites are ranko, rin, anastasia & kaede

& most of the figures for these girls are good, at least for my taste

aniplex mostly superb quality without too much problems, i think they are more expensive than other company figures but they are worth the money

& saekano waifus = love

just check my fedex priority shipment, & holy shit are they super FAST!!!

they sent like just yesterday evening & alrdy reach malaysia this morning if it aint for saturday i think they might even reach my house today

the good news is they have alrdy clear custom & the duty/tax price is a little bit cheaper [~rm30] than my last shipment [ems], they also sent me a sms notification of it which is very appreciated, & yeah no over charge duty price

so for some info & comparison, ive paid ~700yen more compare to fedex economy & its around the same price of ems

i might try a few more time using fedex in the future if its cheaper or around the price of ems

this month & last month doll loot
have been busy havent open the inside content yet, just open to check the package, need to wait after cny back from parents house

2 box almost same size, fedex 1 abit larger, ems postage & tax price a little more expensive & slower,
fedex super fast, auto clear custom tax, sms notification, schedule delivery & call on delivery, the service overall is just superior than ems

anastasia box is super nice, fully printed with foil bling-bling coating all over, asuna is just pain with just a little special volks logo cut out at the side

wow... super nice acquisitions all around! as for me, this arrived last week. no space to display her so she's left in the box for now. as it is she looks awesome through the plastic window...

My Ranko kena tax lol. I don't mind as long i get what I want. I combine ship until the parcel is like 1 meter size.

if u mean open till check the doll/clothes/etc, im not sure cause most volks dd box never got sticker seal or anything, they usually just cover using a transparent plastic, even that the plastic is not really ''sealed''
the content inside seems intact though, nothing really seems un-ordinary / out-of-place / broken / dirty / etc

ems/poslaju -> the invoice is written as doll & the tax payment receipt is written as doll too, so its hard to tell from here if they really opened & saw inside. but so far i think they dont really open till check the content inside, at most just open the carton box.
even the carton box doesnt seems to have any sign of opening, & this time its double carton box so i think the chances are even lower

ive import quite some dolls before & i think dolls are even safer to pass compare to xxx figures, especially if its come with clothes & such, for tax not so much
