My guess would be they don't want to send to your location. Due to distance maybe (and maybe don't have enough parcels to fill the quota to send to your area)?

Backpack they rarely ask to put in scanner. But boxes and luggage bag somewhat mandatory. They will only ask you to open if the scanner show suspicious shapes. In my case last year they detected my Freeing 1/4 Hayate because can see human shape from the scanner (Hayate is in standing pose) but did not detect the sitting 1/4 Elizabeth Mably next to Hayate (they only noticed her after I opened the box)

Anybody combine orders at Nippon-Yasan before? From their order combine tutorial page: https://www.nippon-yasan.com/cms.php?id_cms=39 it seems rather than recalculating the shipping cost for the items, they simply add the shipping cost for each individual items together, which is pure bs.

Nippon-Yasan under-declare your stuff by default Hence why some people use their service for RM 500++ stuff. I got 3 figures from them on July; shipping cost for them is 2700yen each. 2 of the figures I know will have small box, so 71008100yen for shipping of 3 figures is absurd.

Haha actually I don't mind much how they overestimate the shipping cost, but really hate it if they just do simple addition for the shipping cost when you combine orders. HLJ also let you know estimated shipping cost during the checkout process, but they properly calculate it for multiple items in one order, and not final.

If Nippon Yasan for single I think just divide by 2 (for 2 items of similar size). I would say for each product they already have a fixed value for shipping, so when combine they just simply add the shipping cost of each product together, instead of properly calculate the shipping of the final package. What if the actual EMS is cheaper? They pocketed the balance of course Try looking at the EMS sheet on the box to see the actual shipping cost.

Shouldn't be a problem if your actual price still below RM 500. You can just tell them seller put wrong declaration.

If the figure is not very NSFW then no need to lower declare value if it did not exceed RM 500.

Did you agree to it? Because if you agree, yes you have to collect your stuff at pos malaysia batu caves and pay that RM 100++ (tax + pos malaysia service charge of RM 50-ish). In my case when they asked I told them I will go to Kastam and collect them myself.

Apparently there are new procedures. Instead of they determined the tax only after you went to Kastam like last time (and opened the parcel in front of you), they will open the parcel and determine the tax before you go to Kastam. When you arrive at Kastam just straight pay and get your parcel. Poslaju doesn't seems to send the notice by mail anymore.
