 WTA First Time Charging for IPod nano 6th Gen, Brand new

Please help me !
Bought a iPod nano 6th Gen brand new Sealed in box from online seller . when I try to turn on the iPod nano it can't be turn on . But when it connect to usb charger it can be turn on. after one hour when I pull out the usb charger from plug the iPod nano automatically turn off .

Anyone know why ? Is it the battery doesn't charge at all ?

that does not looks like full charge to me. It shows plugged into power but battery looks like flat.

I think the battery already faulty and not charging. You sure it is brand new? Cause ipod nano 6th gen is like 5 years old already. Even if it's new, maybe left there unused for few years so the battery might be dead.

yes, im sure it is brand new . because im the one unseal the plastic sticker outside the transparent box , removing sticker on the screen etc.

seller claimed that she bought it 8 months ago.

can i know how the battery icon look like when it fully charged ? should i continue charge for 8 hours or ask the seller to refund now ?

This model have stopped so many years. Even bought also need at least 2 or 3 years ago. The only way you can do is either ask for refund , or find third party change the battery for you or search the warranty for the ipod and ask from Apple service center for the exchange (still service center still can do like tht) but need add $$ and it depend on the model vintage whether still entitle anot. Last suggestion, reformat the ipod. The icon for the battery is shown fully charge.
