starting from last year, edifier emphasizes "environment protect woofer", fulfill the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) standard. heavy metal such as Plumbum, Mercury, Cadmium etc... and Flame retardants such as Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) & Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) doesn't contains in the products. it minimizes the harms toward human & environment. this is what edifier strongly "deploy & lead" (倡导 << need help for translation), & as a leader in this speaker system industry.

its a DA5000 5.1.. but u suprise me with DS5000 5.2, hahaha..

Added on June 22, 2007, 7:02 pm& the DA5000 remote juz like philips astro.. LOL...
