its the entry level 5.1 speaker for Edifier.the sub looks like the one taken from M3300,but its sounds entirely like another thing.to make it simple,R501MK2 beats it by miles

Mp221 at SGD19( x2.3 = RM43.7) is a great deal

the cheapest ever sold in malaysia if i am not mistaken is RM699,during the pc fair...
is it sold out???i dont know

nope,Edifier's engineers designed the M3400 and M3300 in a different way that M3400's satelites and controller wont work with M3300.if its possible,i would pair M3300's sub with M3400's satelite and controller...

if i am not mistaken,M1310, M2300 and M3300 is the 1st gen wired controller speaker,while the M3400,E3300 and S2.1M and ETC are all the next gen wired controller from Edifier.that explains the change from the simple black controller with blue LED to the hockey pluck wired controller.the change of controller might be due to the quality issue faced by some users (me included ).This leads me to believe that...

1) Edifier is listening to our comments and they re-designed the controller ground up
2) Kudos to Inter-Asia too,for their effort to help troubled users by replacing the controller without hassle (for my case)

M3400's satelites to be connected to the sub is through the wires with 1 is the positive end and 1 is the negative end,while M3300's satelites use RCA type...this leads to the incompatibility of the both satelites.

sorry for writing in layman's term as im not familiar with wiring stuffs,maybe it can be done in someway to exchange the satelites,but surely i dont know how to...

both satelites got their own characteristics,just that M3300's a bit bright and M3400 feels more natural to me.it depends on one's ears

no matter what,i really really think that you should try to stretch your budget that a little bit more for the R501MKII.R501 is replaced by MKII already,so most likely you wont be able to find it.while M3500 is just lame IMHO.please listen to both speakers youself and you will understand.i dont want to see a fellow forumer making a wrong decision.

i guess for too long i didnt work with Edifier,my memory is used for chemistry and biology...forgot bout Edifier's speakers already
sorry for my mistake on M1310 and M2300 & M3300's controller

the controller is inexchangable due to the fact that the M3300's 3.5mm jack is directly built onto the controller's wiring while M3400's the type that uses RCA negative (which require a cable with RCA positive and 3.5mm positive)...

really???i see much more satisfied users than regretting ones.if they are expecting earth shattering kinda bass... Sorry,wrong place.

the bass of M3300 is of the quality kind rather than quantity kind,just like how Aego M is.but,both are way different,dont even think of comparing it

hmmm,quite subjective...generally,i like M3300 for music and M3400 for game...when the M3400 is paired with my PS2 and with proper speaker placement,the bass really is awesome for a sub RM200 speaker,while M3300 shines at music playback but definitely not the bassy kind,such as techno.the bass is there,but you wont shake head and legs

interesting review.this is what C2 should have been in the 1st place.but then,i am still a bit confused .with the increase in driver size especially for the subwoofer,why not the increase of wattage too?my M3300 is only 2 watts less than this C3.yeah,i know well enough that wattage is not a measurement for SQ,but a little extra wont hurt,eh???

and can somebody please go a little technical and tell me how a Ext. amp and a built-in one is different.

walkman phone is great???haha,you still have much more to learn i would say.im trying hard to ignore your posts,but your posts make no sense at all to me.speaker is speaker,DAP(digital audio player) is DAP.your walkman phone,is basically an entry level DAP paired with phone function and a speaker or a pair of it.so i want to ask you a little,what speaker are you refering to???if you are refering to the bundled IEM,you still have much more to go.if you are refering to the loudspeaker,you have even much much more to learn.

everything can affect how music is made.from the source (MP3 or FLAC),input (soundcard,iPod,Zune,Sony Walkman),to cables (cheapo ones, or van den hul) and the speaker (headphone or speaker).so maybe you can clarify things a little before saying funny things,eh???

just remember,bass is not everything music can offer.music is much more beautiful than some bloated bass.

haha,i got the feeling that Edifier is doing marketing the same way with grado,a little advertisement,but more on mouth-to-mouth marketing.i cant deny it,so far...all my customers walk away a happy fella
