Stock on the way to Lowyat and the Retail price is RM359. U can test it @ Edifier showroom now.

Rm 359??? I sure this is a big bang for edifier.... reasonable price..

but the price is not far away from S2.1M, i wonder which 1 is better as a whole rounder

Listen to the C3 at Low Yat and then compared with the S2.1m.

My own 2 cents is that I prefer the C3.

Size & Styling [

C3 is bigger and has a bigger mid & tweeter speaker. The sub-woofer is also bigger and more solid bulid too.

The independent amp box is bigger and seems to be well constructed for it size and gives an option to attached your hearphone or your MP3 player to it.


Sound

Again please be reminded that "One mans meat could be another poison". I personally was quite impressed with it's performance,

The high freq, was handled well and does not distored when pushed hard. Even on electronic music.

The mid does just as well and handle most of the music well. But may not be a warm as other more expensive speakers when it comes to vocals. Sound card ???


As for the sub woofer, it has a tight base and does not give a low base with vibrations like the Altec Lensing. Again when push hard it does handle itself .

But at high levels even after 2 mins my ear was already ringing.

Value for Money

It surely is. I almost wanted to get the S2.1m going for about RM399/=. But the C3 is about RM 50/= cheaper.


So my vote goes to the C3.

Wow the C3 sound better than S2.1M ? Wonder when I get to test it in Malacca

interesting review.this is what C2 should have been in the 1st place.but then,i am still a bit confused .with the increase in driver size especially for the subwoofer,why not the increase of wattage too?my M3300 is only 2 watts less than this C3.yeah,i know well enough that wattage is not a measurement for SQ,but a little extra wont hurt,eh???

and can somebody please go a little technical and tell me how a Ext. amp and a built-in one is different.

guy... i tested the C2 recently
the SQ quite good for me ( focus for clarity)
but how come the output power of C2 is so little.... until the poor stage?
personally feel that M3300 can go higher volume than C2

so i m really confused becoz i hv the C2 budget
but now think bout C2,M3300 n M3400

which one u guy more recommended ?

if me i went for M3300 the other day.
and in the pc show i compare it once again M3300 is my decision.

M3300 more than 2 years already. Time to get the new generation series like C3 and S2.1M. Word is their SQ better

if just it's available at that time, i'd get it for damn sure....
