Majority of Honshu area is ok desu, Kanto, since there's more highend hotel than budget and mid-range hotel and Budget/Mid-range hotel tend to be full most of the time. AirBnb is the only way tourist can afford nowadays.
but Okinawa and Hokkaido becareful because the Hotel people and Ryokan people are not happy with it.
