Was it marketed as luxury condo during sale? He seems to be harping on that point over and over again. My impression of Malaysian condo is the same from maintenance point of view.
Many of us buying houses now may have a reference point of homes built in the 80s or 90s. So I imagine the current minimal designs of today will seem “luxurious”. Also, it’s a sell of course.
He needs to add toilet bowl at bath 1. And shower at powder room. This is the layout:
Technically doing this sort of wet work needs to go through approval. Looking at the way he presents, it’s not very professional. Sacrificing a living room for some partition equals 100k yay.
Well my impression of this building is that it’s maybe an upper mid build. So funny that people have to bleat out about the superiority of their unit. That’s some real insecurity there.
Nowadays 1k psf in KV particularly new builds doesn’t really mean it’s that atas.
I notice quite a number of Park 2 and Park Sky Residence owners are quite insecure about their property and felt the need to inflate their ego. Like many have said in this thread, from a pricing perspective, these 2 properties are considered middle upper, nothing to shout about.
That one guy saying that these 2 projects are the highest end in Selangor and Sub KL is ridiculous. Any recent projects in desa park city, MK, damansara, PJ, or even Bangsar area could easily one up these 2 projects.
Honestly speaking, the only attractive part about these 2 projects are its masterplan and the connectivity. Other than that, it is just a typical middle upper class Service Apartment with slightly above average level specfications.
Yea property particularly their valuation rests on the general perception of multiple things including location, build quality and SES status of residents.
So if one is deluded about the real world perception then most likely you will overpay or the property will simply not work as an investment and dash your expectations.
There’s power in trying to understand view points beyond your own.
Let’s just say that the demand for extremely high spec high rises is limited. Only maybe expats or foreign buyers would consider it likely not the local elite.
There are certainly many personal landed property furnished to the 9s. The price differential between high spec landed and units would be minimal when you get to that threshold hence landed would be preferred.
At the end of the day, people buy units because they simply can’t afford the landed version of where they’d like to live.
Lol found a video that exactly describes living in Park Sky. It’s in Cantonese and with the more exacting standards of a Hongkie. TLDR, it’s not luxury.
