Recently I realised when i plugged in my speaker to my laptop its metal parts gave me a static feel. Not like a shock but rather a tingly feeling. However, when I plug in the charger with or without switching it on the feeling goes away. Both the speaker and the charger are plugged in to the same extension cord. Can anyone tell me whats the problem? When charging the laptop it does not give me this feel. Only when i plug in the speaker without the charger connected. My laptop is a Dell Vostro 5470 while my speaker is HK Soundsticks III. Thanks

IMO that's due to earthing of your speaker is not properly connected. If lightning occur in your place , your speaker might be prone to be hit by it and may cause injuries and might cause electrical fire. Please ask someone to check the wiring or buy new one. LOL.
