No lar. That article is support for windows 7 & 8.1. The windows update & hardware is still supported until July. So hardware purchased after July manufacturing date may not be able to install Windows 7 or 8.1 without errors.http://www.theverge.com/2016/1/16/10780876...cessors-skylake
TS is having problem installing windows which has nothing to do with the hardware support as we are about 6 months away even though if you are using Win 7 or 8.1.
