the fan size the the radius of the fan blade itself actually, don't confuse your self. like some silverstone fan, although it is 92mm fan but it has 80mm mounting hole.

btw 14 cm fan fit the 5.25" bay, the 5.25" actually means the radius for a media and doesn't include the device itself so include the device casing, it will be around 5.5", that's y 14cm fan will fit.

have filters in the intake fan for your pc, then use the radiator for output. And don't put more airflow fan then your intake fan.
