Looking for two high static pressure/focused air flow 120mm fans and two high exhaust 140mm fans.
Please recommend me. Thanks. icon_question.gif
(Not going for Delta yet, chassis not supported for it's thickness.)

what would you guys choose for 120mm and why? cooler master sickle flow, scythe S-flow or Enermax Magma.

some say yes..some say no... some say it will be even worse.

but if u take the delta GFB as an example... its basically 2 fans stacked up on 1 another...BUT with the blades rotating in opposite directions if im not mistaken...
i dont think thats what he meant....he probably means stacking 2 fans together
*
I think it is almost the same, my tower cooler in push/pull config and blow to the rear exhaust fan so I guess it is same as stacked.

hello guys. ive yet to flip back all the posts in here but i would like to share something about some of my case fans weirdness.

i have 2x12cm 90cfm blue led fan and 2x20cm cm blue led fan. the 12cm fans are exactly identical and so do the 20cm fans. the thing is, one of my 90cfm fan, the leds are normal ; deep, dark blue-purplish glow but the other 12cm fan, 3 of its leds are sort of light blue with some greenish glow.

the 20cm fans, one is good, the leds are deep, dark blue glow but the other 20cm fans, only one of them are the ok while the other 3 leds have light blue with greenish glow.

ive tried snapping some pictures but my handphone camera cant pick up the difference. ive opened up a thread about this yesterday in the hardware section and a forumer noticed the same thing too with his/her cm fans. the thread is closed now and ive been pointed out to ask in here. another forumer pointed out that there are different type of leds manufactured, and while they are said to be the same colour, they differentiate just a little in the glowing/intensity of its colour.

is there a possible way to rectify this glowing difference? its happening with my cm fans but not with my xigmateks. their leds are always uniform in colour intensity and glow.

may be due to the darkness of fan fins or different LED used.

my friend has two different colour of blue 12cm CM fan in his casing.

for stock, should be 2 top, 1 front bottom, 1 hdd bay, 1 rear and 2 side panel(without tower type cpu heatsink).

radiator need higher static pressure fan than heatsink.

yeah but im using tuniq tower 120 extreme, the one where the fan is located in the center n INSIDE the heatsink, imagine tat man, special case man, summore then fins of this particular heatsink (the fins spacing) is so close by each other, check out the pics at the net thn u will understand, plus wanna water coll in the future..smile.gif

for your case, use gentle typhoon or artic cooling is better. clawhammer already show you the comparison chart.
i have enermax magma, cm r4 sickle flow and ADDA 4000rpm (airflow: 175cfm~ / static pressure: 14mmH2O~).
static pressure of cm r4 sickle flow is better than enermax magma(bad against back pressure), can feel the difference with your hand obviously.
ADDA cooler 3c than cm r4 on my venom but the noise as noisy as 1200w vacuum cleaner, like a jet.. rclxub.gif

magma has bad static pressure thn sickleflow?
http://www.enermax.com/home.php?fn=eng/pro...=4&lv1=13&no=32
it says here its has static pressure of 1.400(GT has 2.03 thou tongue.gif)..sicleflow has   2.94 mmH2O(i think its bullshit)
*
ya, magma has weaker static pressure and weak against back pressure than sickleflow.
static pressure - i feel both of their pressure with my own hand, obviously sickleflow is stronger.
against back pressure - then i put both on floor horizontally, air is coming out from the back of magma because the gap between blades and frame is too big.

I don't know whether I got the defected magma or not.

noise:
magma bearing > sickleflow bearing
magma air flow < sickleflow air flow

I'm not sure for GT air pressure, clawhammer not yet responses to my reply.
by the way I'm going to get Artic F12 from him.

First of all, are you a guy?

If yes, please proceed to here and PM Mr. Alvinn
(Of course you must let him know that you are a guy)

If not, then I guess the next best place is to buy it from LYP @ ATE.
(Assuming you are female)
*
whats the difference? guy can get cheaper from Mr.Alvinn? tongue.gif
