QUOTE(mpowerwind @ Jan 2 2010, 07:31 PM)
Hi guys, im currently DIY on my casing and building a new rig. Have some question related to case fan here.
My planning is, 2x80mm + 1x120mm fan as intake and 1x120mm + PSU 140mm + ATI 5850 GC stock fan as exhaust. I will OC my pc sometimes and will use xigmatek dark knight as cpu cooler. All case fan will be xigmatek...
Hows you guys opinion, good to go or not?
*
Should be like this:

1) At the sides, bottom, and the front - intake

2) At the rear and top - exhaust

More intake than exhaust - positive air pressure

More exhaust than intake - negative air pressure.

Positive air pressure better than exhaust, usually, depends...

Me too, it's ok as long your hdds temp are not continuously raising up smile.gif

Plus, your current case, Thermaltake Armor Junior, there is 120mm fan that will blow air directly into your hdd cage...

Hmm...usually

Front: intake
Rear: exhaust
side panel: intake (usually left side panel for most chassis)
bottom: intake
top: exhaust

For example like CM 590:

Front: intake
Rear: exhaust
left side panel: intake
right side panel: exhaust
bottom: intake
top: exhaust

intake :

For both intake and exhasust:

1) SilverStone FM123 or

2) SilverStone FM121 or

3) Cooler Master Excalibur

Pressure above 3.00 mmh20 & flow rate (volume rate) more than 80 CFM.

quite interested wif the FM123 n excalibur...
and i wan 2 ask, my fren recommended me ac f12 fan,how was the performance ?
*
Which model? The highest rate for the air flow for arctic 12 series is 57 CFM only, the difference is too huge, I don't know about the pressure, well, based from the CFM, I don't think arctic series can beat all fans above as I stated...
