I applied initially to MPK for renovation via submission of new BP. Ended up it was put on hold due to changing from 1 storey to double storey, so a KM/DO is required that took me additional 5 months.

Renovation submission or BP is quite fast, if every supporting letter is in place, it would be approved within 1 week.

Cheers

Yes there's a form to sign by all adjacent direct neighbors.

Debris collection You can check with the person in charge.

You would required to get both of your neighbour on left and right to sign letter of consent. However if they are unwilling to do so, you can just write neighbour unwilling to cooperate.

For total, you would need to prepare RM1108 for the whole process. RM600 for Alam Flora RORO bin. RM508 for MPK approval and deposit. As far as i remember, the deposit is RM100.

The above figure is if you are doing your renovation based on the guidelines/standard set by the MPK. This means that you are doing based on the plan on the book that you bought.

For standard ones, the PIC will tell you to come back for the permit the next day. However to be safe, go back 2days later. It should be done.

For myself, i had submitted the application and the permit is ready 2days later. Try call before going to collect

They will provide a guide book with standard renovations plan. There is 2 type of backyard extension, if you select to follow those drawing, then it should be fast and standard.

Non standard is you wanting to do something special and requires to submit your own architect drawing. this might take abit more time.
