SD-RAM total outdated
DDR-SDRAM almost outdated
XDR/RD-RAM dead ? for server ?
DDR2 was now entry-level specification for a PC.

Samsung has released the DDR3-SDRAM
DDR3-SDRAM

but (Quad Data-Rate) QDR-SDRAM already exist at industry field (server).

2006 IEEE International Conference Digest of Technical Papers introduce the Deca-Data Rate SDRAM.

Do you have prepared the amount to pay for the next 24 months ?

yes, because dd2 have officially implemented in both amd and intel board. so, ddr dah kurang pengeluaran. sdram oso expensive although not many ppl using it anymore, but we can see some of the shop still selling it with high price. same level as ddr. blink.gif

congratulation for the quantum leap.

It's not necessary to have it all unless u are a collector. I'm still feeling the pain when holding the pair of 16MB EDO-RAM I bought last time at RM180... imagine RM180 last time is big money.

DDR3, well, they won't launch it until AM2+ and AM3 launch.

Those are GDDR3, forget about that.

DDR3 though is a coming soon thingy, stuffs like XDR and MRAM are much better in terms of technology. If the price is okay, then it'll pick up and RAMBUS can wipe off their stain on their previous 'mistake' with RD-RAM implementation.
