QUOTE(benny888 @ Feb 22 2016, 07:39 PM) Update from Singapore market ( from Hardwarezone.sg) The price difference will favor the s7 edge user! The new phones will be up for pre-order on the 26th of February, this Friday. Pre-order customers would then be able to collect their handsets on 11th March, Friday. General sales will commence on Saturday, 12th March. As mentioned in our pricing and availability news, the phones will be priced at S$998 for the Galaxy S7, and S$1,098 for the Galaxy S7 Edge. Customers who pre-order will receive a free Samsung Gear VR headset (worth $148). And given the width is 72.6mm vs 78/79mm(note 3/note4) Sounds like a plan to lure the note user that doesnt use the Spen and trade it for a nice edge! Cant wait for the pre order. Hope it will be 3099 or less. |

QUOTE(-cmi- @ Feb 22 2016, 10:41 PM) Fix? More like an option. There are pros and cons for having removable battery. Im sure Samsung will react based on consumer demand. For me, having power efficient and large size of battery is better. I love how Samsung designed their phone atm and i dont want them to downgrade the design/quality just for the sake of removable battery. Having my note 3 for about 2 years. Found the battery did not deteriorate (not that i have noticed) .maintaining at 6hours sot with data only.So at least now the battery tech has improved so much. Unlike during note 1 era. Batteries got pregnant every few months with 2 to 3 hours SOT. |

QUOTE(irenic @ Mar 1 2016, 08:17 PM) Yes but it depends on our market strength and s7 edge sales performance. And s6 edge is smaller than s7 edge. There are many reasons why they leave out s7 and one of them is there were huge difference in number of sales between s6 edge and galaxy s6. & S6 edge at launched was in the same price range as the upcoming s7 edge. So this 3099 is well worth it! |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Mar 1 2016, 08:11 PM) Thanks! Whats the price in uk?It's too bad UK is not getting the Silver colour, asked around and all the replies I got are "no information" / "not planned at the moment" if its not coming here there's no point for me in waiting as well, so I might pre order now and get the free Gear VR now I just need to decide between Gold and Black |

QUOTE(edthrax @ Mar 2 2016, 08:36 AM) Bro, both v10 and g5 are using ESS Sabre DAC. I personally am using v10, i can vouch the soundstage it produces is comparable to a mid end DAC which is still good. I have PHA3 and my pioneer home theater both uses Sabre chipsets both produce excellent stereo seperation and soundstage. Wrong thread? As for g5, digital trend has reviewed the b&o module, which they stated uses both ESS sabre dac and EsS amp. And the review said using his Westone iem, it really something worth considering. Heres the link hifi plus module review |
