For 100k+, 3mths fd 4.3%. promo end 30/4.

Will visit bank tomorrow. Last visit 11/4/16. Fd must be in 1 piece 100k to get the 4.3%.
Unsure if want to wait for May in case of better rate.

HLB 4.3%- 3mths, 100k+- , offer end today.

Hoping for higher rate in May.

HLB 3mths - 4.15%

HLB 6mths- 4.25%

I can only withdraw max 5k from ATM.

Last time I transferred $ out from HLB to HLIB and then back to HLB the following day to be considered as fresh funds. Merry go round is accepted.

Affin staff is promoting 1:1 stuff.
FD 1yr promo only-5% : SIS (15yrs)- (saving + protection) guarantee annual income- interest up to 5.5% -non guarantee.

I'm clueless with this type of saving.

I still prefer Fd too. I have 2 pieces maturing end of this month.

I also need to shop around for better FD rate by end of this month.
My principal PB officer is finally inviting me for lunch to talk about wealth management now that I've informed him that I'm re channeling my FD saving from their bank

I was at Affin today and the staff said no new promo yet.

I was at Affin earlier on and asked about 4.5% promo. Staff said it could be selected branch and selected client only.

Wa.. I envy. All my FDs with the old rate due end of May & July. Hoping for new promo in June.

Better check with bank. Sometimes 1 placement of 100k can get extra %. I was offered in April by HLB before they reduced the interest rate in May, 2016

You'll never know if you don't ask. Every little % counts now in this economic crisis.

My HLB PB officer wants to 'talk' to me but I told him, I'll only retain $$ in bank if they offer me FD 4.5% w/o T&C. At this moment, I've transferred out >50% of my matured FD today.

I've written to Affin customer service & the reply still said it's only for selected branches.

No. But they offer to assist me if i'm interested. Great customer service.

If your existing eFD placement is still in the 'cooling' period, you can uplift without penalty. Better check with the bank T & C. (For HLB- cooling period is 1 month. After that a big penalty sum.)
