For principal of RM1,000, the interest of 4.0% and 4.3% translate to RM40 and RM 43 respectively.
It better be worth the hassle to uplift, drive, park and que for another placement

ah~~it depends on the promotion offering...normal promo..is by end of the tenure..some already stated upfront interest..that means once u deposit, u can enjoy the interest. Some offered special rate for senior citizen..u may need to check the tnc for each promo.

hi all,

the extra money i have now, is it better to put in fd, or dump in the downpayment of the house to reduce loan amount?

considering interest almost the same

some bank offer monthly interest, like bank rakyat (no pidm). other may offer mnthly interest, check tnc.

Do I need to apply for release letter or some sh1t like that?

Might be as security for loan ?

I wud advise goes to HL payment since interest rate charged is higher than FD interest

They offer 12 mths FD @ 5% with min RM20k subject to T&C
