AOC monitor E2450SWH, external speaker not working

Recently I have purchase new monitor which the AOC E2450swh which it have built in speaker. But I want to use external speaker which is my logitech speaker and I plug it to the back of the monitor audio jack but the logitech speaker have no sound and it means not working. I would like to seek help as I don't like the built in speaker of monitor.

You should connect the jack to the PC, and select default playback device by right click the sound icon in notification area.

Because last time I'm using philips monitor dont have this problem. Other than that, my monitor is sharing use by my laptop and ps4. So whenever I use which device then I need to switch the plug to the device needed is it?
