i started making own cheese and whey at home, but not as per the video.
i'm doing milk kefir.

i don't drink the whey, so far i used it to to marinate meat/make pickle veges.
just poured around 250ml down the sink last night cause i ran out of bottle to store it.. hahaha

Hi, what milk you use to make cheese and whey? Cause I tried to make cheese via milk bought from milkman and there was so little cheese for 1 litre of milk I found out that they tend to dilute the milk with water, so can't get much cheese out of it.

Farmfresh, Farmhouse, Pura. Buy fresh milk, not low fat.

How do you make your cheese?

Well if you are serious.

Sabah cows milk is world class standard that they won award.

Do you have the money to start a manufacturing line?

I bought fresh milk from the local milkman and I know for sure it is not low fat/skimmed milk, but after a few attempts of making cheese using the milk, I know for sure the milk has been adulterated with water. I suppose brands like  Farmfresh, Pura etc are more trustable as I doubt they would dilute their milk with water. However, that also causes them to be far more expensive, cause they are unadulterated.
I was able to get cheap, full fat milk to make good quantity and quality cheese in UK. For example, 2 litres of milk can cost around £1 only!

Basically the cheese making is the similar as above, just as the milk gets boiled, mix in some lemon juice and let the milk curdle to get cheese. The leftover whey protein can be used as a substitute of the lemon juice for the next cheese/paneer making.

What is the most economical brand of milk you can suggest to make good quantity and quality cheese?

hmm, farmfresh then. i use farmfresh most of the time, once a while splurge on Pura.
if you get a bad batch, you can contact farmfresh directly to get 1-1 replacement too.

If you don't mind me asking, since you seem an expert in buying milk, where do you usually buy your milk? Cause I personally find those large hypermarkets are ridiculously expensive compared to smaller bakery shops especially in milk products. For example, butter and cheese are generally much more cheaper in bakery shops than those hypermarkets. Haven't really done a comparison for milk between bakery shops and hypermarkets though.

i only make cheese once a week since "supply is more than demand".. hahaha
so i just buy from hyper mart/grocer, whichever is convenient.

if and when i decided to go into full mode production and requires milk in bulk, then i'll look into other alternative.
