Shoei products is very expensive because of the materials and technology they put in producing the helmets. You can go through their site here. Market value usually between RM1.3k to Rm10k. But some of them are discontinued. This is what make it rare and valuable among item collectors. Not just in Malaysia, even in japan the price also like that. But, well... people who bought the helmet with that price tag may be plain stupid or richfag.
