QUOTE(SadSoul @ Apr 5 2016, 10:56 PM) Have yourself test for allergy. Coughing especially at night could be one of the main sign of allergy. Sleep without aircon. Get air purifier. Mi is cheap and good. No need to pay RM2k+ for sharp. Mi air purifier Gen 1 only RM700-RM800. Wash bedsheet everyweek. Vacuum your bed (every week) and see if it helps (reduce or not in 1-2 weeks). This post has been edited by Ramjade: Apr 5 2016, 11:04 PM |

I have already told you to see a chest physician, yet until now - how long has it been, nearly FOUR MONTHS - you're still going from GP to GP ? The Chinese physician you went to determined you have been coughing continuously for the past four months because you are ''depressed and not happy'' ? I suspect you have asthma. Asthma in adults has a very classic symptom - nocturnal cough at 4 am. Consult a chest physician first to find out what exactly is wrong with you. Then, if you want to follow up with a Chinese physician, consult the one in Pandan Indah which I had told you earlier. I'm sure she is far more competent and experienced than the one you went to. Asthma is not easy to diagnose unless you are very experienced and have proper lung function test equipment such as a spirometer. X-rays usually don't show anything in asthma unless it is quite chronic and severe. http://edition.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/expert....ml?iref=24hours Way back in 1988, my late mum was running from GP to GP, all of whom merely said ''bad cough'', until Dr Yung Ying Fatt in Cheras, chest physician, finally diagnosed her with asthma. |

I been to a chest physician at a hospital. He done a chest x-ray on me. My lungs are perfectly fine. After that I went to an ENT specialist. Found out the cause of my cough is due to post nasal drip. Eaten tonsbof antibiotics. It stopped my nose bleed but my cough remains. Only then I went to the Chinese physician. |

Better see a physician, have a X-ray and blood test done. Do you have any family members have asthma?
