QUOTE(Evirober @ Dec 24 2006, 06:21 PM) aniqanwar2003: Sorry to borrow your thread but this might help you out. As gamers hideout helps the members sell their games there. If u want to get a game u can try to inquire for used games. That can save a pretty penny = ))) Guys: How many of you have placed games at Gamers Hideout to sell ?? Coz i noticed like 3 copies of Oblivion and other games on the lower display rack. Thanks.. the lower display rack for sell?...i tot for rent.....coz ysterday i rent kameo..and eddy (i think) took from that shelf........

Actually is not that bad of a deal.......(well...for me la...)
...bcoz there is a rental system, i can just rent some games that usually can finish quick within 1 or 2 weeks...or games that u really just wanna play around........
I rent kameo saturday...and i think i almost finish it now....another 2/3 bosses to go...so...i guess ...for me its worth it to rent that kinda game...
..if "better buy new one, no much different"...i halfly agree.... ...new one rm150,....2nd hand....rm70ish......i pay rm20...for a week...and i finish it oready....
..but i do bought new one such as top spin 2,..pgr3...GOW...coz i know that gonna play that very2 long time and have a lot of replay value......
...anyway...i do hope they can still reduce the rental though....i tot members got privellage ?!...hehehe...
erm...the rack behind the counter also for rental(i think), coz last2 week i rent R6 vegas and they take it from that rack.......
...sadly i return it within 1 week bcoz it certainly not my cup of tea....too stressfull.....hehe..
.....so...for me the rental service its ok la.....and easy 2 go there...

QUOTE(zio @ Dec 24 2006, 08:17 PM) If I remembered correctly, you pay the full amount for the game first. Then its RM20 for the first week, RM10 for subsequent weeks up to a month. After a month, the game is yours. So, max is you pay RM50 for a month of rental. yeah...that sound exactly like it... if u want to extend an extra week (RM50+10)), u have to tell them 1st so that u can get back ur deposit....So...they will return u RM90....... ....And i think for the new game they charge rm25 per week...and subsequent week rm15......(based on their rental slip).... ...oh well...any additional info can ask them directly.... ..hope they can reduce the rental fee next year... ...

QUOTE(travis_ckf @ Dec 26 2006, 09:30 PM) So in that case, if say i rent one game from GH, 1st i will pay RM150 then i borrow for one week and return it back and i get refund of RM130? Sounds like a great idea. But can someone confirm me on this? ..yup....exactly like that......and if u want to rent another game after u send it back, u just top up rm20 to level back the rm150.just easy as that........
