QUOTE(remix2040 @ Feb 17 2016, 12:04 PM) Metabones if you have the cash. FotoDioX Canon-NEX adapter for the poor. And Commlite has one too. If you're on manual all the time, you can invest in the FotoDioX Canon-NEX adapter with built in variable ND filter. Thanks, gd info. Any idea on the pricing for FotoDiox adapter?FYI, AF is shit across all the adapters. |

QUOTE(jack2 @ Feb 19 2016, 09:45 AM) Mind to share some videos through FB or google drive? To be frank, this camera is very much recommended for video recording. I am looking for camera which can shot nice video with pro quality and at the same time, can shot nice pictures too. If you want to take good photographs, this body might disappoint you. QUOTE(remix2040 @ Feb 19 2016, 04:20 PM) for both good pictures and video. I'd say A7R? that crazy high resolution is more than enough to win me over just for the crop shots alone haha. A7S is like the god of video right. the Mark II models are just icing on the cake. 5 axis stabilization is there but isnt really needed. glidecams and gimbals do the job nicely yes indeed. im using glidecam hd2000 with this camera. |

QUOTE(OOtaii @ Feb 1 2017, 05:19 PM) just to update... Yes bro, it only works well with manual focus. In fact any brand also same.received my Commlite adapter today, tested with my canon 70-200, unfortunately didn't work when mounted to sony A7s... so, can only use manual focus with full time F4.. ![]() Unable to read data from the lens : ![]() For me i use only use manual focus for video, so i have no problem with it. |

QUOTE(OOtaii @ Feb 7 2017, 08:39 PM) i don't mind manual, in fact i use manual focus most of the time even with Nikon AF-S lens. Viltrox adapter is a bad choice for A7s atleast. I had this before switching to commlite.however i need to control aperture from the camera but sadly not able to do so using commlite. UPDATE.... bought used Viltrox EF-NEX ii adapter and IT WORKS It will blackout after switching lens. Be extra cautious. |
