Best way is to email their hr directly. Or LinkedIn.
Jobstreet is useless. I have my cv reviewed by employers like 5 6 times for one particular job but no invitation whatsoever

If 1 employer didnt reply then maybe its their problem.

If EVERY employer didnt reply... maybe its time to start with the man in the mirror

When my wife looking for job, a few months jobless until my financial also down the drain. Really desperate
All because of waiting for job portals

In the end....I go to all the factory and offices, take the address and even used google maps. Print out 100 of her resumes and just send everything to all the address. no matter got vacancy or not.

Later got 1 call and she got her job.
A few other company also did call her but she likes it there...I also happy

It's good place for employer to find cheap kuli.

If you no received, means your qualification/experience does not justified your RM20k asking price.

Send your resume+ handsome photo directly to the HR.

Jobstreet is way too competitive with so many applicants fighting for a job.

Is it ok if you call the company hr company first and ask if there vacancy b4 emailing them??? Or is this too desperate?

Bcs at least if you know there is a vacancy there is a 50-50 chance of receiving a call back??

Last year, few headhunters called me.
Sadly, they can only give salary up about rm300 only. Some even dare call to take the job for the same salary i got now. For me, it must be at least RM1-1.5k increment for me to risk jump. 300 better dont jump at all.

You and the employer is 1:1 ratio. Employer vs applicants 1: (number of applicants received) . This gives them the benefit of cherry picking candidates for interview.

true , i think that the fair is just for the nerds with high ambition and never work b4 ,

like the one who just graduated , with high dreams ,

let them ask ask ask and talk talk talk there,

so many people asking for the same position , do u think u will be the chosen one?

improve your Bahasa inggeris first.
and sharpening your marketing sense.

they are certainly looking for suitable candidates in the fair.
quality over quantity.

Not true at all, my friend haven't fully completed her course yet but she got a job at a career fair. And it's not an internship, she had a junior executive position with scent pay. If you've not been succeeding all this while you might need to work on how you carry yourself.

just keep sending resume in jobfair. make sure the resume is presentable and you're qualified for the job that you're asking. Most of the candidates apply for jobs with the mindset that "the more i send, the better my chances would be". Actually when applying for job ,the mindset should be "I will only apply for the jobs that suit me and I am really interested in".

Unless it is called exhibition, job fair is a good platform for you to get a job. Of course, not everyone is the "potential candidates".

Job fair is useful, at least there's one more options for you to hunt for jobs.

Not necessarily useless. You need a combination of skills, experience, luck and gumption to successfully land yourself a job.

So continue praying (if you are a religion person) after submitting your resume.

i think those jobfairs have a certain set of people in mind, i.e. graduates in a certain field that fits their criteria. if they do, then they get a callback.

people with more experience would face a harder time since their profile doesnt match the above, in my opinion. for us, its more efficient to go through headhunters or personal recommendations.

jobfair - not much of choice.. only a few really company booth, other is headhunter

jobstreet - all my jobs i got from Jobstreet..
if u go direct to HR they wont look at it becoz they have too much to read and by going to jobstreet they can filter most out 1st before start reviewing..

Linked - so far did not apply anything but got a few invitation for interview by headhunter
