Noob question here Bu I heard from someone that camera stuff is tax exempted. Does this apply the same for video equipment? I ordered some stuff from overseas. Its a lens (shipped in Pelikan box) plus some railings and stuff. I think it will be declared as camera/video equipment on the customs form.Value below USD 1500. Thx.

camera accessories are not taxed. have it declared as such. I recently did a bulk order of Lightsphere II Inverted Dome Diffusion System, declared as camera accessories, so the Customs didn't kacau. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE If the Customs do really kacau, what the courier company charges you as tax is actually undertable money for the customs, not really tax.
