I'm in the midst of negotiating to purchase a subsale condo worth slightly over RM600K, the owner told me the strata title was out but he has not applied for the transfer yet, he said I could apply for the transfer once I bought over the condo. My question is, how much is the fee to transfer to strata title?
(Thinking if I should use this to ask him to lower his price if the transfer fee is too high)

basically there are some calculation but the amount roughly falls on 3% of your property purchase price.
for your case, it might cost you at 18k to 20k

its gonna be hefty

18K-20K just for transfer of title? Does this include the legal fees and stamp duty that I will have to pay to purchase the condo regardless of the title?
Put it this way, how much will the owner have to pay if he were to transfer the title first?
