QUOTE(amduser @ Jun 13 2016, 07:16 PM) here is the 4 different version that i mentioned, if you want to buy from taobao, better choose unpainted or gloss/matte black, other color might have color mismatch thanks! https://world.tmall.com/item/41400433044.ht...0714.0.0.6YLUUe https://world.tmall.com/item/40229101045.ht...0714.0.0.6YLUUe https://world.tmall.com/item/42566712004.ht...0714.0.0.6YLUUe https://world.taobao.com/item/40510738389.h...9832.0.0.KH7rwv can go register an account in this mazda 3 international forum, inside a lot of DIY tips http://mazda3revolution.com/forums/ some tips for you when you get your new car since you upgrade from myvi the bonnet is twice length of your myvi, and the seating position of the driver seat is situated slightly to the center of the car, so you have to really be careful when you park head in, reverse park should be no problem since the boot is not that long when you navigate in shopping mall car park also have to be careful, especially paradigm mall and 1U old wing rooftop ramp, the first day i done my coating then i scratched the rims in 1U car park and the car body is also wider, so it might take you sometime to get used to the side mirror and the wider body |

Any side effect of coating? The dealer pay direct to Mazda. Need to wait the cheque from 2nd hand dealer to clear is also because of this, as his cheque is also part of the payment of my car to Bermaz. If kene bird dropping, when notice it already dry, what will happen to the coating? |

That's advice from sierra glow, if you kena any acidic or alkaline substances, better clear it soon. As far as I see from my car, kena 1,2 times doesn't see what difference, probably long term maintenance wise, better clean off these? If kene bird dropping, when notice it already dry, what will happen to the coating? |

QUOTE(LEO5045 @ Jun 13 2016, 08:23 PM) owned it for 3 months only 3.5k mileage, so far no major problem except the front suspension got sound when going through bump and while rainingother problem is the high spec m3 tyres is using low profile sport tyres, not really suitable for rough malaysia road, some of the owner had their tyre swollen and have to change another common problem is the battery premature failure, but the system will show warning and the car is still driveable with i-stop, can claim the battery from sc under warranty, a new one cost around RM400-600 depends on where you get it This post has been edited by amduser: Jun 13 2016, 08:52 PM |

Try not to waste your money on coating and body kits. The Mazda 3 body lines are beautiful already without bodykit. Coating doesn't protect your paint against bird poo, tree sap, watermark, UV light or scratches. Just wax your car every 2-3 months.
Spend your money on more useful items like tyre pressure monitoring system, front sensors and autobrake lock/auto folding side mirror instead of cosmetics. Just my 2 cents. This post has been edited by Ginny88: Jun 13 2016, 09:43 PM |

QUOTE(LEO5045 @ Jun 13 2016, 09:43 PM) stock is toyo T1 sportnot much problem actually, tyres is subjective and can say is random, just make sure you dont go through uneven road or bump and high speed and dont scratch anything against the sidewall then should be fine the factory defect is only the knocking and ngek ngek sound at the front suspension while raining, then again seems like not all cars has this problem the battery will reach end-of-life sooner or later as it is consider as wear and tear, syukurlah we can claim for new battery from sc (for one time only) if want to prolong battery life just make sure to switch off i-stop after start car some skyactiv m3 club member has already reached 60k mileage and warranty over, so far no complain of major problem other than the stated problem above and some minor rattling sound, this is a good thing because skyactiv-everything is consider very new tech in the market one thing though, the road noise of this car is very very very extremely noise if you compare with seaweed, probably is because of the sport tyres that come factory installed on our m3 |
