It is not official from Mazda, it's basically tweaks that he repackaged into an app and selling it. He is selling other people's (absolutely free) work and does not provide proper support. It's not 100% stable, but if you want to try the tweaks but you're not very tech savvy then this is the way to go.

Im just using Xiaomi Yi car Dashcam camera. Worry to make wiring to the fuse box so I just buy power extension cable from center console and put below front passenger seat. Cost RM182(camera) + RM18 (power extension)

do you need to turn off the dashcam when the car is switch off?

i wonder if it can be attach directly under the i-active sense sensor housing or behind the rear view mirror, that way will be less obstructive, at least for me

No need to turn off. It will turn off automatically when power lost from the power source.u can switch ON manually but the batery capacity just 300mAh.

This camera is Chinese version with Chinese language but it can be flash with US firmware for English...
