I encountered this smell on my MX-5. Went away after around 1500-2000km.

If you from Puchong Or Taman Equine (Seri Kembangan / Serdang) area, you could visit the SC at Equine Park. You can easily find them on Waze or Google Map. No queue on the day I went. 

Still, before you go any service center, better to make appointment, and get them well informed what are the issue you are facing.
FYI, I got my bump stopper replaced and 10k service at there within 1 and half hour. I would say they are really fast.
Great service, helpful and polite attendant, and nice waiting lounge upstairs.

bro mine also GL spec, but i can only managed to hit 470km++ almost every tank.. haha.. maybe i jam a lot kot, more than 15 traffic lights everyday on my way to work and back..

now using 18" HS rims, feels heavier yet i am achieving the same 470km++ per tank, maybe i change back to 16" should hit at least 500 haha

Should be no problem if you consistently drive between 90-120km/h.
I drove from JB to Klang, not even half tank. My average FC that time was around 5.xL/100KM.

it just my luck on the day i go to shop, they have only one unit m3 ckd and after wait 1 month still no people buy, i just give deposit to buy the car. the SA said got 5 people book the car but cancel.
havent spray yet. waiting for bonus then can re-spray back the m3. need to put tinted and door side step too.
now left cbu unit only. last month they have 3 unit ckd but sold out fast.
