Just got my HS Sedan Blue Reflex last Friday. Installed 4 front sensors, scare bump into something when doing front parking. So far so good for this car, able to reach 180 km/h with no issue. Any recommendation on the tint with budget less than RM2k? Thanks.  thumbup.gif

it seems like everyone that get their m3 will try out full acceleration rclxms.gif

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Mar 30 2016, 07:24 PM)
I don't see the point where the pedal lock will reduce the legroom. The lock is placed at the middle and only your right leg will move.
*
maybe for small car will have that problem, m3 should be okay i guess

QUOTE(tbcheese @ Mar 30 2016, 08:31 PM)
Goddamned Mazda workmanship. Haven't got the car for 2 weeks yet and noticed the hatch spoiler is discoloured.

Ginny88, this is how it looks like. Some angles/ lighting conditions, it becomes not so obvious.

Yep, CKD lack of these SunRoof and i-Eloop but come with more features and cheaper price  rclxms.gif

Btw now One U having Road Show, have Lucky Draw
*
The lucky draw can get what? This week have to go back hometown so cannot go roadshow

Last week I went to Kia roadshow in 1u nothing special on the interior, and their car is quite underpower based on the spec no wonder fuel consumption so bad

Door visor gooding? I heard that it will create wind noise when speeding >100 km/h
*
this car already got a lot of road noise, a little but from the visor wont make it worst la

i think those with aerodynamic shape and non-obstructive one wont have noticeable wind noise

Found that my company M6 FC is much better than my M3.
Same 2.0 engine and M6 is heavier, but....

M6 = 7.7L/100km
M3 = 9.0L/100km
*
what is the usage first, a lot of travelling on highway? traffic jam?

m6 cbu got i-eloop is it? probably that's one of the reason

This is a Singapore 2.0 model. I tried to check the infotainment, there is no i-eloop there.
Moreover, I also noticed that the gear up very fast, at 40km/h speed alread gear 4th, sometime 5th.
It will keep all the way at gear 6th from 60~100 km/h and maintaining the rpm below 2000.

I think maybe the tuning is different, or my M3 has problem.....

I will need check my M3 behavior again.
*
9L/100km is not very normal, either your leg too heavy or the traffic condition that causes you to burn more fuel (e.g. traffic jam)

mine is average at 8.2L currently

if i'm not mistaken, m3 60-80km/h that time still in 4th gear or 5th gear, after 100 only it will shift to 6th gear, and it like to drop gear when you just press slightly harder on accelerator

*
you change the gear to manual mode to check?

because in manual mode it seems to limit the gear i can upshift until i exceed certain speed

nope bro, didn't change to manual mode.. it will just upshift until no more shifting happen. there you know you're on 6th gear.
*
Just tested it in the road, it shift to 6th gear so early no wonder feel like no under power

Just now I finally get the SCBS to activate once by trying to bang the touch n go gate at the toll booth laugh.gif

Yes. Previous version, not currently M3 skyactive engine.
Not skyactive M3, the previous one now hv a lot for sales.
I still can find previous model M3 CKD 1.6l, they selling rm86k but duno still got rebate or not since it is 2015 stock

http://www.mudah.my/vi/44137669.htm
*
Did you try carlist.my? They got quite a lot of used m3 around that price range or cheaper

Get the 2.0 is you can because 1.6 will be underpower due to its weight

Yes. Tried carlist n some other websites look for this car. I think only can get used mazda GL cos unregistered 2015 can get new mazda 2 skyactive ady.
Most of my fren asking me to get 2.0l, but worry about repair cost. Can i know any mojor problem with this car?
*
2.0 and 1.6 is same other than engine capacity, there should be little to no difference in term of maintenance, perhaps you should worry about fuel consumption and road tax cost laugh.gif

There doesn't send to be much complains about the previous gen, even the current gen m3 don't have much complains other than the right front lower arm causing sounds

Driving at Ipoh over the weekend and fetch my parents all the time and noticed that the FC increased from 7.7L average to 9.1L average when driving in Ipoh road with same driving style

While in KL I can get 7.7L to 8.3L average shocking.gif all this is the reading I get from the onboard trip meter

Maybe Ipoh road a lot of traffic light and most of the time cannot go over 80km/h to get the fuel saving cruising speed, so it seems like driving slower actually consume more fuel, while my previous vios consume less fuel when driving below 90km/h

i'm from Ipoh too, I'll try to monitor my FC when i go back next time biggrin.gif
Meanwhile, i'm having the average of 7L, driving mainly around Shah Alam and PJ.
*
m3 like road with flat and long stretch, ipoh road a lot of traffic light, small road and no highway, the highway can go up to 80-90km/h then you have to slowdown because there are so many slow drivers ahead vmad.gif

QUOTE(tolorati @ Apr 3 2016, 01:18 PM)
Hi guys, i've been lurking here for some time, and am looking into getting the m3 HS. If i do get it i'll be more active here.. sigh.. decisions decisions.

already tried it last week, 150 km/h feel like 50 km/h only if minus the noise

when around tapah hill area, try change to 4th gear and keep your rpm above 4k, can really feel the push when the car accelerate at maximum torque thumbup.gif

Definitely, RM2,555 is a big part of my salary gone man. The skirting no need to replace actually, the damage is at the bottom, cannot see actually. I'll just paint it back only. My friend most probably can do it for free, so I guess I'm still considered lucky.. If the entire skirt fell off would have been worse..
*
that's how SC works actually, they dont fix things, they replace it and chatge you at least 30% more than outside

if you need a new skirting/bodykit just go taobao, cheaper than you get it locally

if you need workshop just go outside if the parts you want to fix wont void warranty, last time i went a SA told me if i want to get cheaper battery can just source it outside because SC sell it for RM650, of course he whisper to me only la tongue.gif
