if it's not compatible, you wont even be able to boot it. it's that simple.

well, let me recall back what OPB said before. (not applied to nf4 non expert or venus)
1. Don't set MAL and RP under bios. You have to set AUTO. 2. IdleCycle Limit - set to auto under bios to boost MAL tighter. 3. If go higher fsb, then DS can go with 1. DDS sometimes can be tricky, if you have very strong ram, try 3 first, but always from auto, then if safe, go 2 then go 3, normally 2 is just perfect for average users. |

or u can try to lower down the voltage
for my case when the voltage set over 2.6v then will blue screen some time and try ds 8 dds 3 1st and start tunning from 250 fsb to 300fsb |

QUOTE(casperito @ Dec 25 2006, 09:21 PM) i test running memtest @ 250mhz @ 2.5ghz got no error... 25 pass 25pass is nothing, try atleast 100 loops. can boot into windows but then blue screen.... QUOTE(skydna @ Dec 27 2006, 03:02 PM) or u can try to lower down the voltage agree, most if d tccd (espcially older batch) don't like high voltage, 2.5~2.7v is d best for my case. for my case when the voltage set over 2.6v then will blue screen some time and try ds 8 dds 3 1st and start tunning from 250 fsb to 300fsb |
