Both seem equally bad.

The first: buy now full price then wait long time for miracle and only get in Jan earliest. Advantage: now got discount later maybe no discount.

The latter: buy and get it after few days. But this could take time till Feb or March haha. The advantage: no need to pay in advance and wait for miracle everyday lol. Problem is.. Will there be any discount in Feb or March?
