As I've said earlier, I've asked a few friends working in game shops, and the info they received is that most pre-orders from other game shops asides from Sony can only be fulfilled in mid March to April. So be prepared to wait lol

i too ordered 2 months ago from gemfive, still no news,but i placed a booking on sony centre klcc 2 weeks ago..got the unit on last monday.

lesson learned, must book directly from sony..

They're already processing your refund if the status is on hold. It will then change to void and G5 will send an email that it's cancelled and refunded from them.

I do not think Sony can do whatever they want. PO and booking is 2 different matter. PO means buyers/sellers agreed with the pricing and everything is paid in full. Booking or reservation is placing a fees as earnest money. When item arrives, buyers pays full amount; deducting their booking fees.

If any seller asking for extra due to currency fluctuation, I'll will lodge a complain with relevant ministry

booking with sony doesnt requires any deposit.. hence they might just increase the price, and say take it or leave it.. pre ordered yes..because u have paid in full..

I pre ordered from gemfive, paid in full, they have to honour that price...but since no freaking news on the ETA, request refund already..

i booked from sony 2 weeks ago..just leave name.. last saturday they call and notify me, if i dont pick it up by monday.. the set will sold off.. so i think they can just jack up the price and ask whether u still want it or not if you booked with Sony..

If you care about HDR, which is the whole point of getting newer 4k tv, 6000 is reviewed to be quite pointless for it. Despite having good quality picture and everything, the HDR is pretty much useless in the TV because it doesnt support wide color gamut. Same case to x700d. Only x800d and ku7000 are the one with true hdr with wide color gamut and low input lag. My advise is just wait it out. Next year for sure got more cheaper model with better HDR or those will drop in price even more. Buying a 2016 model TV at the end of 2016 is not really a great idea.

enabling high quality mode (hdr+4k?) will kill the framerate. I'm more excited for the 60fps 1080p patch.
