hi everyone, I'm new to this thread....may I know what's the difference buying the PS4 Pro from Sony vs others? I noticed most of you guys PO from GH etc. but not Sony.

Personally, I just made PO last week with Sony and no idea where I am in the queue nor when I'll be getting it....

Yeah it's weird..Maybe I should PM their FB for confirmation.

Last time Sony did not accept any pre-order so most of us here pre-ordered through Gemfive merchant and entitled around RM200 discount.
Ordered direct from Sony should have better priority IMO.

If you PO with Sony most likely you'll get the unit first.

I also PO the pro from Sony Store 2 weeks ago. I just leave them my contact info & until now, nobody call me. When I saw someone here said Sony called him to collect his pro, I thought I will also get mine soon. But nobody called and now I am not sure if I will even get my pro this month or I have to wait until 2017.

afaik currently they not taking any preorder. not sure in KL. i ask sony centre in JB, they cannot commit any preorder. they will call if stock arrive. thats all they can promise.

so far, Sony in Times Square and Midvalley are taking POs. Last week I asked Sony in MV they said 3 more units in the 2nd batch (Dec) still available but I've already POed in Times Square (which they said not sure when or which point in the queue I am in)...

No hurry, still searching for the best 4K UHD HDR TV....

Just make sure you get one with low latency/input lag or it will be very unsuitable for gaming. A lot of 4k tvs have high latency.

I'm currently using the 65 inch LG uf9500 with colorprime, 4k and hdr.

i'm afraid my budget is not that big, sir...i'm looking at below 3k, 40-50 inches
