Will G5 compensate those who pre-ordered but can't get their units or late delivery?
It's really annoying to pre-order, wait with excitement and then BOOM!... walk in gets it first! |

From the posts that I read, most if not all of us that POed from GH is still waiting for our unit.
I will never agree if GH ask me to top up for any difference in currency depreciation. We paid FULL amount as per advertised, meaning there's an agreement from all parties on the purchase price. Already we are suffering the frustration.... If GH really wants a top up, I will defo make a complain to G5 and ask them to deal with GH. |

I POed from GH on 9th Oct... Which probably means I'll get my unit at end of Dec. And I'll move to NZ on early Jan.... Damn!

I've written a complaint to G5 coz they changed my status to 2nd batch delivery on Dec!
How can they do that?! When I pre ordered, it was stated as mid Nov, that's the reason I ordered! See how they respond. |

G5 came back with a response regarding my complain. Told me that GH said mine is 1st batch.
Will see if I really can get mine on Nov. I do agree that it depends on how many units Sony allocated to each reseller. Sony M'sia must work harder.... |

To be in the 1st batch is good but how many of those in 1st batch are getting their units? What if they only get 10units from Sony? As of now even in 1st batch don't mean much.

I'll just wait for the 1st batch delivery and then decide. If I get mine, then it's a ll well and good. If they still gimme bullshits and push me to 2nd batch, then I'll canx my pre-order coz I can't wait. Moving abroad soon. Will then lodge a complain at G5 and demand compensation due to misleading and false advertising.

I've just got a reply from G5 assuring me that I'm in the first batch queue. Told me to ignore the Order Status.... Fingers crossed. Hope all that POed on Oct will get our units by Dec.
1st time POing is so stressful..... |

If GH or any reseller ask us to top up any amount due to whatever reason, we shd not take it lying down. What was advertised, with discount codes etc are in black and white. It's a free market, willing seller & buyer. We agreed and we paid in full. Unless what we paid are partial booking fees; which is NOT!
We paid in full for something we want and the seller agreed to take our money thru a middle man. Any fluctuation in Forex is NOT our concern. It's not like we can ask seller to reduce price if USD drops, right? Doing biz is risky and it's something all biz men faced.... |

Now I'm in a dilemma. Continue to wait and hope for the best or canx and get refund. I'll be moving to NZ soon, so getting the Pro on Jan is NOT cool. Fuck!!!!! |
