Picked up my pro from Sony Midvalley , gonna give it a whirl at home in a few hours

I preordered yesterday, haha. All of them have been fully booked by today though.

My advise to you is to call as many Sony Centers as you can. Sony Curve got theirs yesterday, Midvalley today. Sony KLCC is getting theirs next Monday or Tuesday. Not sure why the schedules are that strange.

Pretty detailed......whatever you are. Checkerboard rendering almost imperceptible. No indication what resolution it's running. Colors vibrant enough to think it's HDR although slight color banding on the blue skybox reveals its 8-bit color.

EDIT: URGHH. Low res textures and geometrical detail once the demo starts. Looks like a PS2 game.

Am now curious how high a temp to does it take to bend the plastic casing....

I agreed with recommendation of 49" KS7000 from all the above posters. You get a entry level SUHD at a good price and fulfilled all the criteria for the current 4K HDR gaming. I got one too from 11 Street at Rm3300 after "Tech Tuesday" discount and voucher (standby to get the voucher at 11am every Tuesday or it will be out of stock fast).

That was the best TV buying decision that I've done. You will be blown away when you play the 4K HDR demo movie on the KS7000.

Now I'm just waiting for the PS4 Pro from Game Hypermart. Hope you can decided what you gonna get soon!

I know for sure that KU6000 supported HDR10 but it lacked the "wide colour gamut" capability to display the HDR properties properly. Your TV doesn't have the required brightness (over 1000 nits) for HDR10 but it still support the HDR10 format, but display not as good as those TV with "wide colour gamut".

For example, in the Samsung HDR - Wonderland demo, those with "wide colour gamut" TV (e.g. KS7000) will see the sunlight covering the mountain like a real sunlight. The sunlight reflection on building windows in the demo also reflected like in real life. The clouds colours are lifelike just like you would see up in the sky. That how amazing HDR are and no, I'm not exaggerating.

Aren't they all talking about PS4 Pro compatible TV right now? Or are those discussion have to be done in the "Entertainment" thread? Welp I'm confuse.

Anyway I think I saw someone mentioned that they want to go look for PS4 Pro in SG. Maybe a few pages before this tho but there is no update from him yet. Haha

Impulse told me I'll will be getting my Pro end of Dec.... I was like wth, they told me I'm number 13 on their pre order list, from now 'till end of Nov they can't even get 5 or 10 units? This is so f'up.

That's also my dilemma right now. Cancel G5 pre-order and I have to start back queuing at other shops. If I choose to stay with my G5 pre-order I don't even know when I'll get the Pro.   

I don't understand this. SP&K, GH and Impulse have all received their first batch, even tho its in limited quantities.

I have asked Gameon, and they told me they have not even fulfilled ANY orders at all. Seriously they are one of the worst vendors of the PS4 Pro.

Anyone here paired ps4 pro with 1080p tv? How's the hraohical upgrade compare to standard model? Is it worth to get the Pro without 4k tv?
