My thoughts as well. Slimmer version = less ventilation/smaller fan. Hmmm..
As a side note, I'll gladly subscribe to Unifi even though their prices aren't very competitive. If only they were available in my area. For now I have to make do with mobile broadband For some applications, it's faster than Unifi but what sucks is the limited monthly quota.

yeah i like the current one. love the light strip. it looks more edgy and futuristic with the angles. if that slim is really the final design then it just looks like two apple boxes stuck together.

It'll be compatible with computer-based Remote Play, the newly announced PC-based PlayStation Now, and other applications.
It's probably safe to assume that more major PC and Mac developers will include DualShock 4 support moving forwards – a lot of games already allow you to select the PlayStation button prompts. The accessory will cost $24.99 in the US, so it's not exactly going to be cheap – but if you like playing games on your computer, then it may just be a must have.
it was only a matter of time since they've opened up remote play. but yeah if you play games on PC, then that will really be good.

i dont think it can unless your laptop got an HDMI input? which i doubt. but possible. if got HDMI-in.
but you can use the remote play to stream your ps4 to your laptop. but never tried so dunno the quality. on my mobile last time tried, its ok. on home network.

wait for the PS4 Slim to be released. Once the slim is released, most sellers will try to offload their stock and prices for the current model should drop.

Is the free stuffs worth signing up for PSPLUS, I seldom play online (co-op, multiplayer).
PS+ only RM129 if you buy it yourself from malaysia PSN store. for me its worth it as some games for online play do require it. plus got the free games. mostly indie, but there are some good stuff. like gravity and also Journey this month (journey is awesomesauce). other releases include NBA2k16 and Helldivers. can look it up. who knows what else they will release, but anyways. worth it for me.
Haha alright. I saw Gemfive can preordet ps4 slim (extended 1 year warranty) at just rm1349 x 12% discount which means just cost rm1187. Any different between ps4 normal edition and ps4 slim besides one is slimmer in size?
at that price. i think can just go for it for the pre-order. hard to say how much price for old stock gonna drop. just wait a bit before playing lah. haha. the slim is also supposed to run cooler and has around 30% less energy consumption. if that equates to better quality overall machine im not sure, but it looks pretty good. unlike the final iteration of ps3 slim which is so damn plasticy and noisy... design wise though. i dont really like the ps4 slim. not as high tech looking for me with all those rounded edges. i like the sharp corners and flashy lights of the current model.
