I saw a guy selling his ipod video 30 gb. I really wanna buy it but I really afraid about some fake stuff that some buyer sell. How to know whether the stuff is ori? They always said they provide 1 year apple warranty but how is this warranty work?

there has YET to be a fake ipod with the similar features as the REAL ipod.. esp the click wheel.. hasnt been duplicated yet.. haha. cause any one who dares use tat will face severe FINES and LAW suits. haha

the best u hv to do now is inspect the package lo.. if its really sealed.. thn whn u register yr ipod online.. thn will u ultimately know if its brand new.. if not go look for yr seller.. any new ipod being registered will get one year warranty the day u register..

There are many iPod fakes, but none as ruztynail mentioned, has come close to the real thing, especially the click wheel. And you can judge from the quality and design of the box, as well as the UI of the iPod itself.

The fakes are mostly Shuffle and nanos. No video equivalent so far.

If you are not sure, ask him for the serial number and you can actually check this online at Apple Support. Hope this helps
