Hi there, I recently applied to volunteer at UNHCR but they're not looking for anybody at the moment. I want to volunteer to teach Maths/English/Computer skills to kids or even adults (doesn't matter if they're refugees or rural etc) during weekends. I live in Sungai Long but it's possible for me to travel around Selangor/KL. Do you guys have any places in mind? Thank you very much

Hello! Here are a few places I know of:
http://www.meetup.com/CyberCare/events/228673927/ (it's recurring; have been here before) I know you said weekends only, but here is one with longer period... you could def call and try to ask if they would accept weekend volunteers: http://www.sols247.org/ You could contact this group, they might be able to point you to the right direction: https://www.facebook.com/carefugees/timeline |

Hi...In case you are interested, you can google Pandawas Academy.
They provide education support for refugees primarily from Afghanistan. It's in Ampang if not mistaken |
