Getting Started

Seeking advices. I'll be getting a Gtx970 and would like to upgrade my monitor to a 1440p to make the gpu work.
The prices of everything I could fine were just crazy. Any suggestions or pointers to where I should look?

Depend on what game I suppose, Dota 2 on r9 280x, dual monitors, 1 1440p, 1 1080p, 80fps average when playing on 1440p monitor, highest settings, full screen. Granded dota 2 is not an graphically demanding game.
