yes you can. the apk for android and apps for ios is available. unless you use blackberry or symbian os.

Of course it can, since you didn't mentioned what kind of phone you're using everyone assumed the common Android & iOS phone.

Also in order for it work, you need to ensure that both are running on the same TeamViewer version (eg. version 10/11) and you need to ensure the computer's firewall is not blocking this apps.

The most easiest way to test is both are connected to the same network, then switch your phone's wifi off & test it with your data connection.

get a bluetooth mouse and keyboard, else is really painful experience

control as in, typing or moving the cursor ?

for typing, you have to click the button down there to type thou
