Got 6 speakers can play around, and 1 sub long time didn't power up. Ok bo?

Stay on my question please, Denon x4200 can use bo?

RM4k can barely buy a set of 5.1 and that's for speakers only. An entry level receiver will already cost RM2k.
Suggest to just buy 1 pair of main L and R bookshelf only, a receiver then slowly add on the other speakers when budget is bigger. More speakers is not always better, in fact most times more is actually worse if you cannot even place the speakers properly and treat the room right in the first place.

Ok great. Will start to look from there. Maybe the budget of 4k might go up.

hahaha yes, i'm into stereo for many years, still learning though.
My friend will go for either yamaha, denon or marantz receiver, and pair with his current low priced speaker for now. Will keep poisoning him with higher-end item 

I also stereo kaki long time ago. Now I am enjoy arcam receiver with xtz bookshelf speaker.  Mostly I am using  stereo mode to enjoy my tv drama, because most of the sources are  pcm 2.0 only.Although  I try to up-mix 2.0 source  to 5.1 with dobly surround mode. But I prefer more natural stereo mode.  Although dolby surround mode is louder.

So after that,  I give up any upmix surround mode.  IF source is dts hd,  I play dts HD.  source is dolby truhd, i play dolby truhd.  If source  is Atmos or DTS-x,  I play Atmos or DTS-x. IF soure is stereo, I only use left & Right Channel to play.

i didn't know that.. phone, tablet audio in atmos?

I turn off any sound effect of my mi phone. Non EQ  is best. IF you really want to adjust your sound EQ. Better adjust your color temperature of display setting. This will affect your sound quality, but you need very good hearing to distinguish the difference.

My friend finally got the yamaha rx-a2a from a&l audio (from ct seong, because his service is too good). Got himself a starke sound sw12 subwoofer for the av amp (from my other friend), and set it all up with his edifier unused satellite (s550).
It brought a big smile to him n his wife.
The yamaha design is neat, easy to clean and sounds nice. Although the ypao doesnt really gives him what he wants, but he just takes time to adjust the gain.
Now left the last speaker poison which i need to add in few months later     
If anyone here has yamaha amp experience, please let me know which brand to pair with it.

Did it work for you? I tried to set up another HDMI 5 but using Opt1, but it can only set up one HDMI 5. Once you set up, eg. AUX as HDMI 5 with Opt1, the original HDMI 5 (Media Player) will be deleted. So I can't set up one for movie, another one for music (optical in).

In this set up of yours, what happen when you switch to Media Player? Do they adopt HDMI as default audio input or others? Is there a way to set up priority on which audio input will be adopted?

My Denon x4300h - exhibit lip sync issue for both Media player and Astro.

Both Media input lip sync setting has been set off or zero. This is definitely due to the Amp. While I can set the amp to auto lip sync, which still failed to sort the problem out, is there anything I need to look at from the Amp or this is a common issue for Denon?

Any feedback from the anyone will be greatly appreciated.

Haven't seen Sony AVR for decades here. 100% chance it's not coming.

I bought used AVR before, within few weeks HDMI rosak, luckily seller gave 1 month warranty, exchange with another integrated amplifier...

My speakers and integrated amp bought used, but AVR already scared...

1 day before baru show off usb playing 192kHz 24 bit FLAC to ktek, next day terus HDMI not display... tested a few sources no display, change cable also no help, left it on and play for 30 mins suddenly it'll came back, intermittent like that...
