Sorry kinda offtopic.
Any gamers here who are using Maxis Fibre 10Mbps?

I heard few years ago their connection was unstable and ongoing multiplayer session would disconnect on a frequent basis. Does it still happen nowadays?

Thanks for input.

You should ask at the right section. But I was also tempted last year because during that time i was only using 5mbps, and almost same price from Maxis but double the speed. Last year I asked around and for multiplayer session it's pretty bad, also the speed isn't really stable most of the time I heard. But maybe it has been improved, not sure. I still sticking with Unifi with higher speed atm.

I am using Maxis Fibre, so far no issues at all. Been playing Rainbow Six Siege with minimal issues, and even Tom Clancy's The Division beta.

But i had a lot of issues when I just registered for the service. The NAT is strict and you have to ask Maxis to change your IP to a public one. Even then, I still had issues with older mp games (I'm looking at you, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier).

Otherwise, it has been a pleasant experience with Maxis Fiber. Oddly enough I never get more than 2mbps download on Uplay and Steam, but on Origin, I get 10mbps download speed.

Maxis fibre user here also. Constrastly i have faced very frequent disconnection from time to time. Even worst is that i disconnect almost every half to one hour and need to manually connect back to the internet. It is once in a blue moon to only disconnect once or twice in a day.

Oh, I have been using cable instead of the wifi. So might explain why I never get disconnected.

Only other device I use is my phone, so not sure how often it disconnects. Not often enough for me to notice.

If your debit card is Visa based then choose Visa and click continue and vice versa.

See your debit card using Visa or MasterCard and add your payment details accordingly. After done, select the amount you want and make payment. It's pretty straightforward.
