I am Maxis Home Fiber User. My computer uses ipv4 address for about 1 year and the speed is damn slow. Right now I assigned my Maxis Fiber with IPV6 address and the speed increases,no lag, no bullshit. Games are working smoothly, low ping and it's exellent ! I will don't mind to share with you guys how I did it.

How you do that? Mine is Maxis Home Fibre 20Mbps but it shows no IPv6 yet. Currently running on Mac OSX.  blush.gif

Unifi's IPV6 doesn't perform that well. I was a UniFi user.

How to know we are using ipv4 or IPv6? Huhu.. Already a year with maxis fibre home 20mbps
*
You can ggogle search "test ipv6" and enter to any websites that show to you. If it says IPV6 not detected means you are not on IPV6. Normally, Maxis Fiber doesn't have IPV6 yet.

From your first image, the so-called Maxis IP is within the famous 2001:470::/32 subnet. I wonder why Maxis did not get their own IPv6 allocation and then open a BGP tunnel if native IPv6 is beyond them.
*
I don't know why they don't have IPV6 but as the google said IPV4 is going to full and it is time to change to IPV6 to not being congested and can serve more internet users.

Still, it's a dual stack implementation and not purely IPv6 stack.
*
Ya I know but as long as I have my IPV6 address and can access to IPV6 sites then it will be ok to me.

Hello there,
Yes, I am sorry about that.  I left Malaysia for the UK in July and the website was being hosted on my PC at home on my Maxis connection.  Just something fun to do and another way to amuse Maxis staff.

But I've put the website back online now as it seems helpful to some Maxis users.  Link works fine.

Thanks.
