my one single complaint is , why are the dota games connected to the penang side ?
usually over the course of a night , i only get 1 or 2 games with leavers , but ever since it was connected , i only get 1 or 2 full games MAX
not only that , there is the issue of lag as well
there are some games where we just keep freezing every minute or so
and we cant exactly tell where the host is from , and neither can others connecting to our game , so it is kinda hard to avoid the issue ..

No offense whatsoever , but was the Penang link really necessary ?
Fixing the lag issue would be great , but , ever since the link was established the leavers in dota have increased by at least five times .
Now i am not saying that is solely the Penangites, there are probably lamers in the Subang branch who use that as an excuse to leave as well . But tbh just severing the link would get rid of a lot of problems . Games were fine before this , and I as well as many others would be extremely happy if it was reverted back to before .

So , I don't mean to sound fussy , but it's been approximately 3 weeks , and I still get into laggy Penang games and vice versa . I don't know if you guys are going through a proxy or established a direct connection , or just connecting through IP , but with the given infrastructure , frankly I highly doubt this project is gonna be successful . It might not be my place to say this , but shouldn't you guys make sure it works smoothly before implementing it ?

Well , you don't have to use the dota players as guinea pigs though lol . You could just use tracer route results to monitor the time outs and lag spikes .

ftz needs more counters/personels during a blackout
