Hi everyone, I discover something weird about my xbox360. The clock of my xbox always return back to 8pm on the year 2005. After I configure the clock it will be alright, but when I turn off the console and turn it back on later again the clock will return back to 8pm 2005 no matter how many times I tried.
I had logged into my gamertag, I actually discover the time run away when I press on the guide button while I was half way playing a game, so confirm logged into my gametag.
I my gamertag was set to singapore and I even change my windows live ID location to singapore, so it shouldn't be a country problem.
I hope someone here can provide me with some help. Thanks in advance.

The 360 requires internet connection to set the time right. Are you connected online?

If you turned off the mains power, then the time will be reverted, no real backup battery in the 360 like the original xbox.
So.. what happens now is that, when you login to Live the time will be synced to one of those atomic clock servers based on the region you've set for the console.
I'll double check the actual option when I get back.

There... found the setting I set previously, basically goto your systems blade->console->clock then you can set your time zone, so set that to +8 and ur time will be synched everytime u logon.

this is due to that xbox 360 don't have any "Cmos Setting" or "CMOS Battery" which help to save the time.
therefore they only set the time via online only.
