Hi, just a suggestion, if you don't mind. if you are ok travelling with strangers, you can try staying at the backpackers i stayed, one stop hostel. basically, i keep sharing rides with other people, makes more fun and a way to get to meet new people.

cheers.

Most hotels / guesthouses have bicycle for rent. Last time I got they lent it to me for free. Just ask them.

im travelling to phnom pehn on and off due to my job, but i do have half day off when im done with my job. any place to visit in PP? i have been to killing field, dont really like it.

i will share what i like in PP everytime i go there :-

1. the Malaya Restaurant (operated by malaysian) behind public bank main branch (centre market) offer very good rendang... ok i know, you guys prefer cambodian food instead haha.

2. ABC hair saloon, its extremely cheap for a hair cut. nice place around $3~4 for a hair cut. lots of pretty girl but the main sifu i like is a guy. very pro.

3. some might wanna try chinese food in cambodia, there is a restaurant named 'tai tai' around centre market too.

i have been to their centre market, doesnt seems a lot of things to buy. what i heard is a place called russian market, any1 been there before?

feel free to let me know any place worth to visit in PP with half a day... like after 11am.

Haven't personally done this, if you got a day to spare, why not head to sihanoukville for the beach?

thanks mate, will read it when im planning for my next trip. i dont really have 1 full day to spare, normally im done with my meeting after 11am (sometimes 12pm or so) and my flight back to malaysia is next morning. so travelling around PP is all i can afford unless i take another 1 or 2 days off to travel around cambodia like siam reap or so. it is sad that i know not much about cambodia even though i have been there like 5 time, that is why i decide to take this opportunity to travel around PP myself. before that i will just rest in my hotel and have a evening walk around the big park behind the independent monument.
