Will be getting a power rack that looks like this:



Will be importing from China. I am still in the midst of looking for a shipper , but apart from the quality, is there anything else that I should be looking at? I believe in the event of the item being taxed, it'll be taxed at 6% right?

The cost of import and the rack itself should be around RM2000.

the 6% is the total cost which includes shipping.
i think there is also the 10% import duty to pay.

Was wandering what the quality might be like. Because it is cheaper than most products out there. And how can we customize, like placing dip stations etc? I wanna import too. I read some bodybuilding.com forums. They had some concerns on the weight that could go on the rack, especially in cases where the bar drops on the safety bars.

The one's I'm looking at is around the usd 500 range which is quite pricey. You could get them a lot cheaper in the US but we don't have that option.

Some comes with dip stations, lat pulls downs etc. I'm looking for something without the accessories as those may be of a shoddy quality made to enhance the rack. The most would be the dip station. From which site are you planning to get it from?

Noticed there's a seller in the forums offering power cage, maybe maybe give him a PM. Since he's local can avoid the hassle and uncertainty of importing from China.
